Since our last class, i have made progress with my research. After sifting through alot of research I have refined my topic some more. The research I have found thus far has helped me see maybe I need to switch the question I’m asking. What exactly I want to know? My question originally was what are the advantages of kidney sales? After reading through the research I realized this is so broad. So i have been considering the question is it ethical for patients to purchase kidney’s from the world’s poor? I don’t know the answer to this and i feel i will still find alot about why the practice is illegal today.

This is a really nice question, Maggie. Do you have an argument in mind yet?
I do. My argument is: Offering financial incentives to living unrelated donors is the best solution to the ongoing organ donor shortage facing the United States.
