Final Reflection

In the beginning of the semester, my main goal was to be able to write stronger essays as well as just cutting down the overall time that it would take me to write an essay. Throughout the semester, I feel as though my writing has gotten stronger. Although, I do believe that it has a long way to go, it definitely has improved in my opinion.

A piece that I am particularly proud of is my rhetorical analysis piece. For that essay, I remember spending countless hours on finding quotes and digging into the show that I analyzed. I don’t think that I ever really spent as much time on an assignment like I did with that essay. I enjoyed the task that we were given for that essay, which led me to add a bit more elbow grease while working on it.

A piece that was particularly challenging for me was most likely our literacy narrative assignment. I wouldn’t classify it as challenging per se, but as it was our first “big assignment” I remember stressing over it more than I should have. I think I was just stressing, as it was one of my first big assignments of college, so I just naturally stressed about it.

College has been a big change for many of us. As the first semester of my college journey comes to an end, I feel as though I need to say thank you to Professor Perry. I’ve really enjoyed the material that we went over in this class, as well as the assignments that we have done throughout the semester. This was one of my more enjoyable classes just because of this fact. Again, I want to end off this reflection with a thank you.
