Summary
discussing deep questions in class.
Hello Class, My name is Cynthia Hueyopa I am currently a finance major but want to change It to international business. In class we discussed a good amount of questions but one that stuck out the most for me was, what’s the hardest thing for you to do? I responded with saying no and asking for help. People say I am outgoing and open but that’s true to a certain extent sometimes I feel very introverted. Growing up I wasn’t able to say no for many reasons, some due to trauma and some out of pity.
When I asked Alexa, and Karina the same question, Karina responded with making new friends and Alexa said letting go of a grudge. Karina and Alexa know each other and according to Alexa, Karina makes friends easily. I feel like to everyone but you that hard thing you say about yourself sometimes doesn’t actually reside with you. In Alexa situation, it’s a little bit different. Respectable because she acknowledges that, some people hold a grudge towards others and completely deny it. I genuinely respect Alexa for being honest not only with me but with herself.
I agree with Alexa on the idea of letting go of a grudge being hard. Growing up I always held grudges but it is definitely something I am working on and will continue working on.
I can relate to struggling to ask for help, I used to never ask for help even if I really needed it.
