My name is Liki Zheng. One question I answered is “Describe an ideal day”. For me, an ideal day is spending the whole day with my friends. Typically, it would start with pre-planned fun activities such as an escape room challenge or DIY projects together. Following this, we’d go to a shopping mall and browse through the place. The next item on our agenda would likely involve dining at our favorite restaurant. Lastly, we’d go to a cute cafe for drinks and desserts.
During class, I conducted interviews with two individuals, Carol and Evelyn. One question I asked Carol was, “What is the hardest thing for you to do?” She answered that forming lasting friendships is particularly challenging. I agreed with her answer, standing up to make friends is hard for an introvert like me to do. For Evelyn, I asked her, “Is a happy life more important for you than an adventurous one?” We both prioritized a “happy life” over an adventurous one, considering an adventurous life usually has potential risks and dangers.
Making lasting friendships has become a lot harder for me, especially as an introvert. It takes a lot out of me to go up and introduce myself to a person.
I like what you said about your ideal day. I think I would also spend the day with my friends just hanging out
