Studio exercise 1: Building Blocks

In this process, it consists a lot about getting to know how to use sketch up for the first time and getting to know how to create shapes using the tools. In the beginning I just looked at how to draw lines around the surface of the dimensions and using the push/pull button to play around with the height of the block I want to create.

The challenges I faced was getting to know how to move the object and rotating it based on the angle I want it to move. I had a lot of trouble trying to understand how to place certain blocks of objects on top of each other. It was difficult to understand the different features of sketch up and understanding how to color or change the dimensions of the object just the way I want it to move.

The final product that I had created was a semi-cylinder block and I had colored it in red just the way how I liked it. For the final product for the multiple block model, I had created a car model. It was a very colorful car model and it was difficult placing it but I was able to do but I was able to visualize what kind of object I wanted and kept persistent in my work.
