I suppose living in NYC in certain areas at certain times could either be full of noise or quiet with sudden flashes of noise. One new sound that I never really thought too much about is the sound of my turtle eating his food. The crunch of the worms when he bites the food. Different bugs or worms give off a different crunch. Another sound would be the sound of my wooden ladder on my loft bed. It’s pretty sturdy with no accidents but one step on the ladder is loose no matter how tightly I try to screw it in. So every time I walk up the ladder the wood of the step and the wood of the sides of the ladder rub up against each other and create this loose clacking sound.
