This blog is for my english class and a way for me to explore ideas and what I want to write about for my essay about digital culture and the internet.

I chose the topic of digitization because of its current trend. Many things are being digitized, so I would like to say something about it.

Digitization has a lot of potential positives, and the negatives are often overlooked or considered not that important. What do we sacrifice when we digitize? We store information and it exists, but its physical presence is reduced.  

There won’t be many images, as my topic is a concept. My header image demonstrates what digitization is at its core: storing things into lots of zeros and ones. I want to explore its implications and effects.
