How amazing ! Shortly after I wrote the review for Tosca, which I saw at the Met Opera not too long ago (see review below), I was lucky enough to meet the amazing Tenor Roberto Alagna ! I was at the airport with my mom who was flying back to Paris. We were at the checking counter when we must have felt an extraordinary presence because we both turned around at the same time. And their, right behind us was my idol ! He was absolutely nice and polite, chatted with us and asked his wife to take a picture. He asked if I was a ballerina and that got us talking for a while (I know he like dancers because my boyfriend is a dancer at the Metropolitan Opera and performs alongside Alagna quite often). Just wanted to let you know that he is as charming in real as he is on stage ! 🙂
