Ann-Cohen-BrandweinAnn Cohen Brandwein is a Professor of Statistics at the Zicklin School of Business, Baruch College. She served as Director of Graduate Programs for the Zicklin School of Business during 2002-2005 and Acting Associate Dean for the Zicklin School of Business during 2005-2006.  From 1993 – 2006 Professor Brandwein was an Associate Editor for the Theory and Methods Section of the Journal of the American Statistical Association.  Professor Brandwein has received the Presidential Excellence Award for both Teaching and Service.

She completed her Ph.D. in Statistic from Rutgers University.  Her primary research interest is Multivariate Point Estimation for Spherically Symmetric Distributions. She teaches both undergraduate and graduate STA courses for business students and executive MBA students.  In addition, she is a member of the Baruch Ph.D. faculty and the Academic Advisor for Zicklin Graduate Internships and Graduate Statistics Programs.
