A few days ago, I received a letter from registrar office which basically told me to demand a major. I began to think about the issue that has been bothering me since the first day of college– Which major is good for me.
I knew myself well enough to tell what I like. But the problem in a tough time is passion is not for living. Practially, I consider Accounting a ideal major because the changing world can’t change without the records of data. Yes, accountants are always needed. I can be good of doing accounting but I won’t be satisfied.
My strength is Math, I feel it much easier than dealing with English. About a year ago, I found a job that would fit my taste, and that is actuary. I think actuaries put the theory of mathematics into pratical use and make insurance a great business field. More than that, I feel the connection between actuarial science and me, not only about math, I think it is mostly the way of thinking. How to simplify the most comlex problem into the simplest one with some universal formulas or tables, and upon the comprehension computing issue to clients and make them understand the most compicated issues.what are the steps from a students to insurance professionals.
The first thing is to do the research. All the related material that I can get is the base of the my research. From these material, I should be able to find out the basic working system of insurance and its principles. My goal of the first step is to prepare for my internship.
This is my step, and the next article will still be focusing on the life Insurance. What is life insurance, and what are its policies. All need-to- know questions will be discussed.
