Hello world!

Frankenstein is an interesting story of man, creation and science. A major theme in the story is the dynamic between Frankenstein and science. Furthermore, Frankenstein forebodes the advancement of technology past natural boundaries and the consequences associated with this. You see this throughout the story as Dr. Frankenstein becomes fascinated with playing god and creating a living thing. However, as soon as he creates the monster he regrets it entirely as he has to watch his creation tear apart everything he loves. Dr. Frankenstein clearly holds resentment for pushing science to its limits and the irreversibleness of it. This resentment shows the need for cautious deliberation before wholeheartedly pursuing these scientific advancements that push the bounds of nature. A quote which perfectly displays this resentment comes from chapter 9 when Frankenstein says “when I thought of him I gnashed my teeth, my eyes became inflamed, and i ardently wished to extinguish that life which I had so thoughtlessly bestowed.”

This video helps to portray and relate the dilemma of Frankenstein to real life.
