Post a link to one interesting example of Flash content that you’ve found on the web. Along with the link, provide at least one complete paragraph detailing your thoughts about the example – what works? what doesn’t work? what does it mean (does it mean anything?) what catches your attention? what bores you? how do you interact with it? why do you care about it?. Support your ideas with concrete examples. Correct English grammar, spelling, etc. are of course required.
Next, choose one other person’s post and leave a comment on the chosen Flash example. When you comment, provide a complete paragraph with your ideas and insights on the example. Do not merely agree with what the other person has written. Express and support your ideas in your own words, again using correct English syntax.
I visted the M&M’s website which is http://www.m-ms.com/us/ which uses flash. It was pretty intersting because I enjoyed the animated colorful M&M’s flying around the site each time you scolled to a link. Depending on which link you highlighted there was an sound that was used in the background as the M&M’s were exploding out of the link which was very eye catching. I believe it works very well as far as promoting the site.
Also, since Valentines Day is around the corner and people normally purchases chocalate during this Holiday, the site has cute animated hearts on the main site which also works great marketing idea.
I think this site was interesting because its use of colors and graphics. As well as, the constant moving imagery which doesnt bore the person who is visiting the site. I just wish they could have used a little more audio in the background.
Twana, rather than including your link and description as a comment, write it as a post so that it shows up independently in the blog as the other students’ posts do.
