  1. I really enjoy looking at Liat’s slide show. The music goes very well with her images. I like how each image blurs and then becomes clear, as well as the raindrop effects on it. I also like how the raindrops in her intro changed into letters. I believe she used shape tweens for that. I like how she put the clickable images on a roll of film too. I think that’s clever and creative. However, I think the cursor should be changed into another symbol when it’s rolled over an image so that the user knows that the image is clickable. Sometimes it’s a little difficult to click on the image I want to see because all the other images on the film start moving too. It might be better to make the images on the film not move so fast. Overall, this slide slow is very pleasant to look at, especially with all the different effects and music! For my next project, I want to make sure that I have good music for it and some cool effects.

  2. I’m really happy with my slide show. I started by thinking of different options for it. At first I wanted to do something like a dark room, but I also wanted to keep it simple and emphasize the rain motif. So I ended up keeping it really simple combining both motifs. I chose a rolling film for the thumbnails to represent the dark room element and animation of rain on the big photo because my photos are about puddles. I think my final slide show works really well. I did the intro scene also in the spirit of the photos.

  3. I thought Liat’s raindrop slide show was done really nice. Everything seemed to go together very well, such as just using black and white colors since her pictures are in black and white as well. I also thought the raindrop effects she put on her pictures were really cool. It gave the pictures life and it was as though you were looking at real raindrops. The film strip was also a very creative idea. It made the slide show less plain and more interesting to look at. Great slide show!
