Join the APA!

If anyone is interested in becoming a member of the American Psychological Association (APA) as an undergraduate student, here is a link to the APA page: http://www.apa.org/membership/student/index.aspx. The eligibility page states that “all undergraduates taking psychology courses can become an APA affiliate.” Furthermore, if you join between now and Dec. 31st, your membership would carry over to next year, as well. Benefits include receiving the APA journal, scholarships and awards, and special rates for registering for the APA convention. Lastly, it costs $35 for undergraduates to become members. Best of luck!

  1. Also, I think that you can get the cost covered by REU if you ask. Particularly, if you are looking at attending or presenting any of the conferences (which will also decrease the cost of the event if you are already a member).
