My first career was in music. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Music Theory and Composition, and I spent several years performing in the Northeast United States. While I no longer make my living playing music, I still perform around the New York City area, mostly with small blues & rhythm ensembles, under the moniker KID JAVA.  I also perform with Voices of Gotham, an all-male a cappella chorus that specializes in barbershop harmony. .
