ENG2100 was a fun class because the professor was a cool guy, he loved to interact with us and made lots of jokes. I was not at Baruch college when I took that class, I was at CCNY so I don’t know if the experience would have been the same if I went to ENG2100 at Baruch instead of CCNY. I was able to learn how to write. Of course I knew how to just write because thanks to the professor’s help, I can write pages even if I don’t have a topic but just moving my pen until I got something. I also learned how to break down any piece of reading you have using rhetorical analysis (title, context, background, etc). I’m not the best when it comes to breaking down those articles using rhetorical analysis so hopefully I can improve on that during this semester. There were a few essays we had to do for that class. One for example, I can’t remember the exact instructions but I took 3 articles about why steph curry is the greatest shooter of all time and broke each one of them down using rhetorical analysis. We could have done anything we wanted, which is the freedom I like when it comes to writing. Hopefully at the end of the semester, I will be able to get to know how to make any piece of writing as sophisticated as possible to use in the future. Also, an A would be nice.
