I will share a recipe here every week. As we head into the holiday season I want to share my absolute favorite guilt-free granola recipe. It is great on the go or as a gift! Tip: Try it in Almond Milk!

Dry Ingredients:

6 cup rolled oats

3/4 cup chia seeds

1.5 cup crushed walnuts

1 tablespoon cinnamon

1/2 tablespoon nutmeg

Liquid Ingredients:

6 tablespoons coconut oil

3 tablespoons Ghee (clarified butter)

1 cup maple syrup

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

4 tablespoons

Sunflower seed butter

Directions:

Preheat Oven: 275 F

Blend coconut oil, ghee, syrup, and extract on low heat in a small saucepan

Stir all dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl

Slowly add the liquid mixture, mix thoroughly

Fold sunflower seed butter into mix

Transfer mix to large baking sheet

Press mixture lightly into baking sheet

Dust with sea salt

Bake 45 min, let coolgranola

COCONUT WATER MINI ‘DONUTS’

A sweet, healthy, fun treat! Have you noticed the recent trend in coconut products everywhere? Here are a few facts in case you didn’t know:

**Coconut oil is metabolized by your body as ENERGY vs. fat

**Coconut water has more potassium than a banana

**Coconut oil prevents free radical damage and improves the appearance of skin and hair

**Coconut water is naturally sweet, so no need to add that extra sugar!

And now for a quick, easy recipe!

Ingredients:

1 cup unsweetened shredded coconut

2 tbsp virgin coconut oil

1/4 cup coconut water

1/2 tsp pure organic vanilla extract

1/8 tsp sea salt

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a bowl or blender.

Roll the “dough” into mini balls.

Refrigerate for 30 to 45 minutes and you’re done!

Do you have trouble getting enough of those healthy greens in your diet? Here is a great way to remedy that solution! Throw those leafy greens in a blender with your favorite fruit and they will be down the hatch before you know it 😉

Ingredients:

2 cups almond milk

2 big handfuls of leafy greens (spinach is my favorite)

1/2 cup frozen fruit (cherries are amazing)

I tbsp chia seeds

1/2 avocado

Directions:

Blend and go!
