Three pieces of advice I would give to someone new that I am supervising:

– Practice, practice, practice. When it comes to oral presentations, you must practice as much as possible. If you have are usually nervous when speaking in front of a group of individuals, practice will most certainly help.

– As far as written communication goes, I would suggest to seek advice. In addition, I would also make sure that the employee is constantly proofreading their work.

– Lastly, address any concerns with their supervisor. Depending on the size of the organization, they may offer services to enhance your oral and written communication skills.

Our group project was split into the following parts:

– Problem, Causal analysis

– Solution & Innovation

– Implementation Process, Budget

The aforementioned were split between the three group members. The presentation will also be split in the same three categories and each member who has contributed to their respective areas will be presenting those ideas.

Our group has already decided to pitch a proposal to Echoing Green regarding financial advice. Our project will benefit those in the impoverished areas and will be open to people that are on the poverty line of below. By looking at the Census bureau statistics, our group was able to determine that the area that is highest in poverty in the tri-state region is the South Bronx.

We feel that we can provide our customers with the following types of advice:
– Financial Services
– Income Tax Preparation
– How to save
– How to control spending

In providing these types of services, we think that we can help our customers go from living on the poverty line or below to potentially having enough money in their savings s well as potentially getting into the middle class or lower middle class standards of living. We feel that this is most definitely worth investing since it provides a benefit that can not only reduce poverty but can provide benefits for those that are in the surrounding, such as local banks as well the local businesses due to the increase in disposable income.
