It reminds me of Dr. Suess’s story about the two little people who wouldn’t budge to the right or the left. In their stubborn-ness, neither of them moved, insisting that the other get out of their way. In the meantime, society grew, bridges were built, roads were formed, cars were invented, and everybody moved on.
Maybe you can mention this, how the stubborn old people are missing out on all of our new innovations– They refuse to allow themselves to become dependent on technology, but as a result, they are handicapping themselves. because knowledge is power.
