Hello everyone,

My name is Chelsea Prudencio and I am currently junior at CUNY Baruch College, majoring in Computer Information Systems with a concentration in Data Analytics. My academic journey is driven by my interest in the transformative potential of data across various sectors, with a particular emphasis on finance and healthcare. In finance, I am intrigued by how data-driven insights can optimize investment strategies and enhance market efficiency. Meanwhile, the healthcare sector presents a unique opportunity to leverage data for improving patient outcomes and operational efficiencies.

In the realm of data, I am interested in addressing the ethical challenges within the field, especially the critical issues of data bias and fairness. Recognizing the impact of these issues on the reliability and equity of data-driven decisions, I am passionate to exploring and implementing strategies that promote transparency and inclusivity in data.

I am thrilled to announce that I will be interning with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center this summer joining their Tech Strategy team to support their initiatives with AIOps! Outside of academia and my professional pursuits, I love to play tennis and shoot film photography.
