Hello, my name is Christopher Ramos, and I’m looking for a job opportunity in the Psychology industry. I am a Baruch undergraduate who plans to do his psychology master’s degree at Queens College. I’m a strong leader with excellent time management abilities and fluent Spanish. Every time I have the chance to do something, I always want to learn something new and build experience that I can apply to future possibilities. My present employment requires me to deliver packages and interact with customers, which tests my communication abilities. My passion for psychology has taught me about human behavior and the reasons behind it. I like hearing about people’s difficulties in life and giving them suggestions on how to handle them. Hearing from them and from my close friends that my advice was successful gives me a rush. Many of my close friends and peers comment on how mature I am for my age, which they attribute to the difficulties I’ve faced in life. One of the people I help the most is my younger brother, who I assisted in discovering the joy of playing sports. He is a member of the high school sports team I was a part of, and my coaches have claimed that because of his rapid growth throughout the season, I helped mold his mindset. I worked on unwavering his confidence, keeping good focus, and giving him the strength to conquer his anxiety and frustration through tough times. This was done through creating long term and short goals, make him visualize the plays he makes, keeping his spirits up by giving positive , energetic language, and making him have good confident body language to get the feeling of success. Working with my brother has taught me that if you work hard and are with the right people, you can achieve great things. I believe that we can achieve great things if we work to improve one another.
