Dr. Svenja Dube

Svenja Dube is an Associate Professor in the Accountancy department at the Zicklin School of Business. Specializing in ESG accounting issues, her research encompasses areas of disclosures, rating agencies, and ESG activities. Her work delves into subjects such as the impact of social media on firms’ ESG responses, the nuances of ESG rating competition, and consumer responses to negative ESG news.

Beyond her research, Professor Dube imparts her knowledge in the classroom, teaching a Master-level course titled “Sustainability Reporting and Measurement.” This course reflects her commitment to nurturing future professionals who are adept at navigating the complexities of ESG reporting and measurement in an ever-evolving business landscape.
