Ms. Edwards is currently undertaking a Master of Law at the University of Melbourne.  She was previously awarded a Master of International Business (cum laude), a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours), and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from the University of Sydney. During her professional career, Ms. Edwards attended Carbon Expo Barcelona in June 2011, and participated in the 51st Commission on the Status of Women at the United Nations in New York in 2007. Currently, Ms. Edwards is a Senior Associate at Net Balance, Australia’s largest advisory firm dedicated to environment and climate strategy and policy. In this facet, she has a demonstrated commitment to climate and environmental policy, and in particular the introduction of a carbon price in Australia, including the current Clean Energy package proposed by the Commonwealth Government. Ms. Edwards also works for Net Balance Foundation, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to essential public research.  She is currently in the process of founding a new not-for-profit organization in Australia, Balanced Boards, which will focus on increasing female representation at the board level in the energy and carbon sectors.
