Ms. Rose is an Environmental Manager for UGL; an infrastructure services company engaged in industrial manufacturing, engineering, maintenance and business process outsourcing services for blue chip companies and governments across the world. As a specialist she dispenses advice to ensure compliance and innovation, related to sustainable facilities management, property management, procurement and capital works practices. Additionally, she provides consultancy services to a range of clients, including the NSW Road and Transport Authority, Wespac Banking Group, and the NSW Police Force. Prior to this role, Ms. Rose was involved in sustainability in one of the world’s largest stevedoring operations, DP World. She is the co-founder of the Center for Emerging Leaders (CEP), which prepares emerging leaders for future success and growth. She has also participated in a Fellowship with the Centre of Sustainable Leadership. Ms. Rose works with the UN Global Compact Network Australia as an advisor on the Subcommittee for Human Rights. She chairs the Green Equity Management (GEM) advisory board, which is a profit for cause financial planning firm. Currently, she is working on her Masters of Sustainability at the University of Sydney. She was awarded the Logistics Association Australia & Swisslog Graduate Scholarship.
Statement of Intent
Ms. Rose is interested in the global, national, community and organizational impact of climate change.
She hopes to acquire skills to address the water scarcity issues in Australia and learn about strategies in research and development so that innovations in technology, processes and human capital can be used to address climate change. She aims to gain skills and relationships that will help her on her path to be a leader at a top Australian company with sustainable business practices.
