On September 28, 2011, the Fellows met with Sandy Hwang, CEM, Assistant Project Manager at New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) and a few of her colleagues. The topics of discussion included Indian Point Energy Energy Center and how to implement a newly passed regulation in New York State which will make it affordable for residents to make their homes more energy efficient.
