Olivia Coldrey

Ms. Coldrey was a Fulbright Scholar and Global Emile Noel Fellow at New York University School of Law, where she conducted research in international trade law.  She holds a Master of Laws from the London School of Economics and undergraduate degrees in law and economics. Currently, she is Investment Director at the Australian Solar Institute (ASI), an Australian government-owned company that invests in solar energy technology research and development. She has led the investment process in the ASI’s creation of a A$200 million solar R&D project portfolio.  She also developed and leads implementation of the ASI’s international engagement strategy, which includes investment of Australian government funding of up to $50 million for the United States – Australia Solar Energy Collaboration. Previously at Australia’s Export Finance and Insurance Corporation, she worked on structured trade, project finance and political risk insurance transactions in developed and emerging markets and led the clean energy finance strategy. As a lawyer in private practice she has worked with Baker & McKenzie in Sydney and Latham & Watkins in New York.
