Ms. Xie, B.S. in Journalism, is a Greentech Reporter for Global Entrepreneur magazine, which is affiliated with 21st Century News Group, the leading financial media group in China where she examines climate change issues through financial and economic perspectives. She is in charge of all Global Entrepreneur’s articles on clean energy economy, renewable energy, the cleansing of traditional energy, low-carbon cities, and energy efficiency. Her in-depth report, Zhengrong Shi: Man, Not God, the Hard Starting of Solar Power and Swamp of Green Economy in China, was widely reprinted by both Chinese and international media, including Reuters. Through her professional work, Ms. Xie has had the opportunity to interview a number of the key players in the field of global climate change. She is currently working as one of the lead authors on the Manual for Chinese Green Reports. Set to be published in September, it will be the first manual to provide instruction for media professionals devoted to reporting on green issues.
