Mr. Wicaksono holds a Master’s Degree in Architecture, and currently works as a Lecturer at Technical University of Yogyakarta. He is the author of several widely published books on architecture. Within the climate change field, Mr. Wicaksono served on the Organizing Committee at the 2nd International Seminar on Sustainable Environmental Architecture, and currently serves as a Community Facilitator at the Yogyakarta City Council, where he conducts discussions, workshops, and field studies to publicize and encourage sustainability practices. He values sustainable urban planning through the practice of “green” design, and aspires to coordinate a National Symposium on Sustainability in Architectural Curriculum, which will reflect the responsibility architects have to both their immediate and global environment.
