Biography:

Nicholas Davis is an Associate Director in the Scenario Planning and Global Risks Team at the World Economic Forum in Geneva. He is also the senior advisor for the World Economic Forum’s flagship sustainability initiative ‘Driving Sustainable Consumption’, which brings together 14 global CEOs from a cross-section of industry to commit to building a future of sustainable consumption.

Bachelor of Arts with Honours, University of Sydney; Bachelor of Laws with Honours, University of Sydney; Masters of Business Administration with Distinction, University of Oxford; admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales as Solicitor and Barrister. Formerly: commercial lawyer with Windeyer Dibbs Lawyers 2001-2003, Director with Oxford Investment Research, 2003-2006. Since 2006, with World Economic Forum: leads a range of regional and cross-industry scenario and risk projects, develops and facilitates high-level workshops and meetings. Deputy Head of Strategic Risk Foresight Team, co-Editor of Global Risks 2011, Sixth Edition. Awarded Australian Leadership Award and Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, UK (FRSA).
