Ms. Fransisca is a trainer, lecturer, and engineer. She gives lectures, facilitates technical training, and conducts laboratory work for Akademi Teknik Tirta Wiyat, the only academy in Indonesia that specializes in water supply engineering. Ms. Fransisca has held various posts under Akademi Teknik Tirta Wiyata. Under his guidance, she has worked as a senior engineer for the Akatira Merapi Care (under the Research and Community Services Center of Akademi Teknik Tirta Wiyata) to conduct water supply planning and construction for villages affected by the Merapi eruption. She has been an expert for the Research and Community Services Center of Akademi Teknik Tirta Wiyata conducting water supply system analysis. She has been an instructor for Akademi Teknik Tirta Wiyata’s project to conduct non-revenue water reduction training for water supply companies. She has been a team member on work surrounding the construction of production (water treatment plant) modules for the Tirta Dharma Education and Training Foundation. She conducted trainings on construction, operation, and maintenance of distribution networks for PDAM all over Indonesia. Ms. Fransisca received an Australian Development Scholarship to obtain her Masters of Water Resources Management (M.WRM) from the School of Civil, Environmental, and Mining Engineering at The University of Adelaide, South Australia. She also holds a Bachelor’s in Engineering from the Environmental Engineering Department at the National Institute of Technology.

Statement of Intent


Ms. Fransisca is interested in the analytical approach to managing and adapting to global climate change and water management. These topics are especially important in Indonesia given the increasing deforestation, as well as droughts and floods, which heavily impact agriculture.
