Ginsburg completed his undergraduate studies at Hunter College where he earned a BA in Renewable Energy through the CUNY Baccalaureate Program. His coursework included physics, environmental studies and solar PV installation training. While a student he held an engineering internship at Locus Energy, a solar energy data-monitoring company based in New York City.
