The organizing theme of this course follows indigenous and Black feminist knowledges that advance the feminist and indigenous notion of connection, that we are all connected.  More than connection among humans, this concept of connection includes the survival and interrelatedness among all things.

Our study together will culminate in a series of mini-documentaries for a special episode of “Sustainability Matters” for CUNY TV.   Together we will research, write, and produce stories about the climate emergency and its effects on our lives so that we can connect and inspire more people to participate in climate solutions.  Specialists and experts will assist us along the way as we learn and develop the skills we will need to create our documentaries that will air on television this year.
