In 2013, the combined revenue between the top 20 most valuable college football teams was $1.3 billion. The college athletes who go out on the field to play the game acquired approximately $0. The game of football that these men go out and play requires vigorous training and hard work. It requires them to miss school days and valuable studying time. Due to this they are no longer playing football anymore but are instead working. This is pure blatant exploitation of college football athletes by the NCAA and is simply not right. With that being said college football players deserve to get paid due to the amount of time they spend on football and the fact that they are the ones generating the money.
