This article was very insightful as it gave me a lot of information dealing with how much money college coaches get paid. The article also showed how much money college football actually generates for their school which highlighted how much the athletes are being robbed of their money. They are playing in a billion dollar industry and they are not getting a single dime out of it. The money can be used to even help pay some of their tuition but it is all going to the front office and the NCAA.

They had to repay the amount they received for the items and were also suspended. This article helps highlight the hypocrisy of the NCAA as they are able to profit of these players but they can’t profit of themselves.

The article mentions them being full time workers as it highlights the everyday life a college football athlete. Getting up early in the morning to practice then going to class to only practice later in the day again. After that’s done they have mandatory studying so the life of a college athlete is really one of a full time worker.

The NCAA is making money off of various things including video games and for the most part it’s without the players consent. Ed O’Bannon the basketball star who was in the video game sued the NCAA and it brought light as to how corrupt the NCAA is.

This article also highlights how college sports tremendously helps generate money for colleges, towns, workers, hotels and many more. It’s time to fully reward players for their work.” All in all this is a great article that clearly emphasizes how vital college football is and is why the athletes should receive their money.
