This is a repost of a blog post I wrote for an Intro to Psychology assignment “Say Hello” and I though it would be great to include everyone on my small introduction. Baruch Students can read my original post and comment there – all others I appreciate feedback and comments right here!

What up guys/gals?
This is my first semester at Baruch College and before this I finished my associates from Monroe Community College in Rochester, NY (also where I grew up). Although my transfer process was a real pain and slightly degrading (poor transfer evaluation and a worse class selection) I could not be happier with Baruch (mostly to the fact its in NYC), and the professors I have been able to have this semester (mainly; Dr. David Sitt and Dr. Johanna Fernandez).
New York City has always been a place I dreamed of living, and I finally made my dream a reality. I have been doing web development and online marketing for years now and out of Rochester which was a drag. Finally I have surround myself by like minded people and can work face to face with them. Not only that, but I love food and so far New York has fed my cravings. Too add to that, Rochester has a horrible selection of sushi restaurants and, where I am living now there are at least 3 to 5 sushi places in walking distance.
I was very excited to read that our psychology class was able to participate in Blogs@Baruch, and as a once blogger gone silent I think this will be a great opportunity to start blogging again. Blogging is a funny thing – it always sounds great to do but is something that’s a challenge right after the first post. That said, I challenge you to keep your blog running throughout this semester, or even start one yourself ( lots of free options; wordpress, tumblr, posterious (any questions please comment below)). As an added bonus I’ll hook you up with a great article “How To Build a Blog Readership” by a friend Dan Shipper. Read the article and you will be on your way to building a successful blog as if you were Dan Shipper himself (but your probably missing rock star developer, killing it young entrepreneur (Firefly / Airtime for Email), UPenn Student and all around solid dude) and if your interested in learning more follow him on twitter at @danshipper
With all that said – ill give anyone reading this a break and end things here..
Happy Tuesday
