PA Flash Mobs (again)
I remember discussing this topic 2 weeks ago in regards to the issue of flash mobs. Well this article clearly exposes the dangers related to this practice, where several muggings, attacks or teenage/gang fights occur, endangering other innocent bystanders. The solution to this problem has been found by imposing a curfew for minors or youngster in University City.

medicalization over crime?
I really enjoyed reading this article! The way society is becoming, it seems as though, you have to have all this medication, to be normal. I think that doctors try to prescribe pills, and different medicines, for things that cannot be helped by medicines. Criminals however, are exempted from the legal justice system by being conducted via several tests on becoming “fit for trial” in order to decide a lighter faith due to the lack on mental healthiness. Doctors that give all these medications to kids, or individuals and whoever, doesn’t always help these individuals to cope with their disorders, resulting in worse side effects or actions that are immoral for the norms of society. Although not treating these disorders with proper medication, ca result in worse future for patients, having too many can end up on the same path as the untreated. The right amount and somehow, coming to a balance between medication and reality of the disease, with close supervision and right treatment, a sick mind can walk among healthy ones with no visual discrepancy.

Racism in America
According to the article by CNN, America still tends to struggle with the issue of racism. Although in the past century several human rights and struggles for equality among classes and races have occurred, it still tends to be in the early developing ages when it comes to racism. White supremacists, still tend to invest their time on hate and plenty of propaganda on white (Aryan) power that dominates the majority of U.S. Unfortunately, as seen in this article, many lives (innocent) tend to be sacrificed for an expired belief (Nazism) that has left it dark spot on history 7 decades ago. I belief that stronger legislation on these hate crimes will lower the level of racism across U.S., but that seems a long way ahead.
Life or Death?
According to this article, it is clearly a disease in society with sexual predators and serial killers. Although, this country has been compelled with LUST for the past decades, it still tends to leave its criminal justice slip between the cracks. Now, when the system tends to fail and is noticed, it comes to the issue of judging a person’s life with a death sentence or perhaps a new beginning in the prison system. Although Sowell has taken away 11 sous within a two year period, he’s life is hanging in the hands of a jury to decide his faith, despite all the horrible pain he has brought for 11 families. Yet the question that bothers me is, should a person be given the authority to pay for 11 lives with the price of 1? Think about it…
The Norwegian Massacre
Unfortunately, this weekend we have experienced a branch in crime, which we have been coping with for the past decade in U.S. and around the world. This crime is know as terrorism. Sadly, terrorism has no mercy on innocent lives. Either you’re a child, black or white, blue or white collar, rich or poor, it digs deeply in the souls of humanity. The article related to this discussion, involves reasons to why the global society has to pay the ultimate price for governmental actions. Anders Behring Breivik, the suspect in the Norwegian terrorist attacks in Oslo on Friday, had criticized the so called “cultural Marxists” , in order to spark a war against growing Muslims across Europe. 93 lives have been lost due to one belief, opening new theories of understanding why the human mind is acting is such way. The criminal mind is not born with the human body, but it is a belief taught by other individuals in society which disagree with governmental philosophies. Terrorism has several meanings and definitions, but the universal meaning of it it simply to induce fear within a society, just like injecting a virus in a healthy body. It degrades the stability of the societal structure, dissatisfaction of political & social policy, tension creation, confusion among its members and concluding with conflicts. The solution to such a problem like terrorism does exist, and it has been proven successful with society through a “network” of eyes. Fear is a human instinct and can be overcome through the right steps of avoiding a disaster. Know the risks involved with a catastrophe, the risks can’t be always be eliminated completely, and know that not always there will be a happy ending. In the end everyone fights for liberty and a safer world, trying to survive as long as possible with little incursions through the path of life.
