CTL Tour: The CUNY 1969 Project

May 9 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm EDT

Join in for a brief tour of the CTL’s CUNY 1969 Project. Find out how you can use this tool to bring CUNY history into your classroom.

The CUNY 1969 Project is an interactive Open Educational Resource (OER) platform that explores the history of the 1969 Five Demands student protest movement, which fought for policies to reconstitute the racial composition of incoming CUNY students. Through the curation of historical texts, recordings, and interviews, the project provides an applied showcase of CUNY’s institutional archives that can be used in classrooms across CUNY.

CTL Tours are quick looks at an inspiring CTL resource created for Baruch faculty and students. The ‘tour’ is followed by a brief informal brainstorming and discussion on how the resource can be helpful in our teaching.

Please register in advance. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
