Memes Galore!

The meme I used was Imminent Ned because I’m a big Game of Thrones fan.

Also I referenced ‘the bad memes” because Professor Gershovich asked multiple times in the class how many people have never heard of of memes before the class. I think it fits because anyone anywhere can make memes, although they might not follow the correct way to use the meme, for example, using success kid wrongly. But that’s the beauty of memes the amateur memes can be as great as one made by professionals (if there are such things).

Here’s a few memes I created the “right” way,

Step Five:

Press Finish.

Your done! Congratulations!

You’re one step ahead in the technology game.

3D printers!

I think the 3D printing was an awesome thing to watch. Although creating things has been around for centuries, when and where else can you create objects in your house while you get a new cup of coffee? I think from making trinkets you can go on to creating anything you can think of is pretty amazing.

Reflect on Your Writing Process

I did a very liberal take on my paper I think I did less of a understanding paper and more of a plethora of ideas that came out. I think I tried to dissect less and put my own take on what McLuhan was saying. I didn’t do any outlines, I tried to do it once, but I didn’t like the restrictions that I placed on myself. I think it was extremely difficult to write the essay because I based it on three sentences. I actually loved the quote and felt it was very personal. But it was very hard to describe the process.

So I Have a Blog . . . (and my First Prompt)

I think the most interesting part of the book was this comic strip. It was written in 1968, and is as relevant today as it was more than forty years ago.

It shows two obviously older gentlemen, probably in the corporate world. They seem to be either heading home or to work. As they walk, they notice a group of young adults.

The group seems to be dressed in the latest fashions and are just standing around. One of the men say, ” The hell of it is those punks pump over fifteen billion dollars into the economy every year.”

Today is a very different story, young adult pump a lot more then fifteen billion dollars yearly. If you count everything from fashion, to entertainment, to automobiles, it is a whole lot more.

And now there’s a different demography that’s been targeted “tweens”, those 10-12 year olds who use their parents disposable income to buy iPods and go to Justin Beiber concerts.

The men could like at today’s youth and say the same exact thing. Youth aren’t good for much except for making money in the fashion and entertainment industries.
