CUNY & Baruch DEIC Infrastructure

There are multiple committees, task forces, and other bodies that focus on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Baruch College and CUNY.  This page provides links to many of them.

Presidential Advisory Council Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (PACDEI) acts as a consultative and advisory body to President Wu and his cabinet on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.  In 2021, they conducted a series of Listening Sessions which are currently being analyzed to create recommendations for the President based on the collective experiences of the Baruch Community.

Baruch’s Office of Diversity Compliance and Equity has the mission of creating an environment that promotes diversity and inclusion at Baruch.

Zicklin DEI Taskforce’s mission is to combat racial inequity and to view the Zicklin community through a racially literate lens.

The Weissman School’s Dean’s Advisory Council has created a council of allies for promotion DEI throughout the school.

CURB or the Coalition for Undoing Racism at Baruch is a community of Baruch Staff and Faculty who have all completed special training on undoing racism, and gather regularly to discuss issue at the college.

The University Advisory Council on Diversity is charged with advising the Chancellery on ways to deepen the University’s commitment to creating and sustaining an inclusive workforce.

The CUNY Incubator develops programmatic training for CUNY staff and faculty to build skills in the areas of bias recognition and mediation as well as cross-cultural communication skills, while promoting dialogue between diverse groups on individual campuses.
