Don Quixote is a story about an older, Spanish man from La Mancha. His name just so happens to also be Don Quixote and he seems somewhat crazed. He obsesses over chivalry and Knighthood and sets out on quests and adventures. Despite his good intentions, he ends up being more of a nuisance than anything else.
The Tale Foundry youtube video on Don Quixote uses an interesting steampunk style of animation to bring the story to life. Specifically I want focus on debunking the underlying idea that Don Quixote is treated poorly because he tries to live a true and natural live. This is not true. Don Quixote is a bandit of sorts, fighting citizens and attacking the windmill. He also steals from people. These are not just acts and the people of La Mancha are not treating him unfairly. Don Quixote has become crazed through his obsessive reading of chivalrous tales and creates havoc for those around him. The video portrays this with exceptional detail with its cartoons.
