Chapter 8

I found chapter 8 to be interesting because it discuss many issues that involve changes with the education system which were based on segregation and discrimination schools and most important global migration and others. These issues engaged kindergarten the most with playgrounds and cafeterias, also economy, culture wars and segregation and discrimination schools.  Something that shocked me was the kindergarten movement; according to the chapter it was passed to improve the quality the urban life style and poverty. My question is how can a child so young help the family by the kindergarten movement? Do you think it was right for the kindergartens’ to be treated this way?
