Reading this chapter I found that our education system is somewhat now the same. In the nineteenth and twentieth centuries they tried to have an equal right for students to get the same education. In today’s world we could say that we do get the same education but what about the students that get placed in a higher class such as honors or even in high school when some students start taking college class. Would that be an equal education? This chapter also talked about having extra curricular activities, but now some schools do not have this activities or the class are shorter because the government believes that we should focus more on the education instead of the activities. Do you think it’s a good idea to cut down these extra curricular activities? How so?
