This will be our course blog for English 2100 this semester.  All members of our class are authors of the blog, responsible for posting original work as well as responding to the posts of our classmates.   Be sure to bookmark the blog’s url, and plan on checking it regularly!

We will be using the blog in a variety of ways:

–Our syllabus is posted here, together with other important information about our course, so you can always refer to the blog if you don’t have your hard copy handy.

–Your essay and project assignments will be posted here, as well as being distributed in class.

–Some of your writing assignments will be submitted via the blog, as work that will be shared with the class and available for comment.

–Readings not distributed in class will be linked to on the blog.

–You will be creating at least two original posts over the course of the semester. These posts will be directly linked to the topic you choose to pursue for your final project.  These posts are required and will be graded.

–You will be commenting regularly on material posted to the blog, both by your classmates and by your professor.

–As an author of the blog, you have the freedom to use this forum to share anything you think might be of interest to the group, keeping in mind both generally held ideas about civil discourse and the fact that our blog is accessible to the public.
