For this blog post, I ask that you pinpoint one topic from either Citizenfour or The Internet’s Own Boy for reflection. Consider this blog post as an opportunity to engage more deeply and extensively with a theme on which to base your digital research paper. If you prefer, then you can also return to topics discussed in our first unit to inform the foundation for your post. I do encourage you, however, to frame your reflection in terms of the documentaries covered so far in our second unit as a class — if only to spark focused discussion on Wednesday around some of the possible routes that your digital research paper may take going forward.
If you want to repurpose one of your in-class freewrites for your blog post, then feel free do so. Just take care to expand and deepen your reflective thinking as part of your post, meantime conducting some preliminary research into your chosen topic as a point of departure for these early “invention” stages of your writing and research process.
