Whenever Laertes name is mentioned Reynaldo has to make believe that he doesn’t really know him well and he should make believe that he knows Laertes as being happy and that he gambled and drinks and fights. Now that Reynaldo knows the rules he’s ready to go out and find the answers about Laertes for Polonius. Ophelia tells her father that Hamlet scared her because of how he looked and how he was being rude. She also tells Hamlet that Polonius told her that she can’t stay in touch with Hamlet anymore. Hamlet loves Ophelia and Polonius is eager to go and tell Claudius and Gertrude that now he knows why their own son isn’t behaving. The king wanted to try to figure out why his son has been acting weird so calls in his friends to ask them. Claudius then asks if Polonius has any proof for his brave discovery and so he tells him to come see for himself. He tells them to come and hide and watch Hamlet from afar.
