My name is David Sinclair, and I’m pleased to make your acquaintance.   I’ve recently left a twenty-seven year career with a national harbor cruise company; I started as a waiter and ended up as the VP of Organization Development.   I once tried to attend college (at the traditional age), but I dropped out after three semesters.  Now, in order to do the OD work that I love, I need the education credentials to back up my experience.  So, I’m here at Baruch to finish my degree (and having a blast…school is a lot more fun than work).

My husband and I have been married for 9 years, and we live on the Upper West Side.   We are avid theater-goers, and we have traveled extensively.  We’re looking forward to our next big adventure during winter break.

Greetings! My name is Arun and this is my first semester at Baruch as a transfer student. My major is Accounting. Both of my parents were born in the Dominican Republic, therefore I was raised speaking the country’s native language Spanish. I learned English in school. Hi, my name is Jianhui Li, but you can call me Jacky. I am currently a sophomore. My intended major is accounting and seeking to minor in data analytics. My favorite hobbies include basketball, computer building, and traveling. Every year I would spend at least a week traveling, with the goal of visiting all fifty states in the next four years. In this course, I would like to encounter more examples of satire and the different ways they are presented among different historical periods and cultures.  I also hope to expand my analytical writing skills in this course.

Hey guys! My name is Lisa Alli. I am a Human Resource major and I plan on using the skills I learn at Baruch to start my own business one day. As a child, I was passionate about art. I mostly loved drawing portraits. However, as I got older I ventured out by taking architecture classes in high school. Those classes taught me how to design different types of buildings, both manually, and by using different software programs. I later became certified in these programs and I also developed an interest for interior design. Now, I am extremely passionate about makeup and fashion.
