He talks about feedback mechanisms in the brain and how dopamine works in play with social media. The source is very strong and is used to explain why there is social media addiction amongst teenagers.

Lily Campbell posted an article in the Yale Herald that discusses the prevalent use of social media in modern times. She talks about her own experiences of being addicted to social media citing body dysmorphia and FOMO, or fear of missing out, as side-effects. The strength of the essay is her account creating a personal connection with the audience.

Miao Chen and Xiao Xin both write an evidence heavy piece about social media. They specifically talk about how it affects the development of students, citing multiple studies and statistics to back up their claim. The strength of this essay is that it is extremely analytical, and seems to approach a very unbiased perspective.

Alyson Klein writes a piece about social media affecting the youth. She includes some surveys supporting her claims. She focuses on an interview with actual teachers and specialists who talk about how social media has affected those in the classroom. The strength of the piece is that it creates a more personal connection with the audience with the interviews.
