I’ve written my script, but it’s mostly a series of handwritten notes and interjections for the different characters to bring up. I haven’t begun filming yet, though I’ve watched like 4 different iMovie tutorials, so I’m preparing myself for the shooting/editing of the video. I learned how to add credits and and openings and I’ve designed their layout, so now I just need to film the debate and paste it in between. The more I learn about iMovie, the more I’m realizing that my initial hope of superimposing three Aarons on the screen is farfetched and impracticable. Serious editing software and greenscreens are necessary for such a feat.
I’m feeling fine about where I am on my trajectory to completion. I know exactly what I have to do and how I have to do it. I’m simultaneously looking forward to and dreading the editing process: I’ve never done anything like it before and I hear it’s quite time consuming…
