Baruch College

Baruch’s Outdoor Adventure

This year’s Student Life adventure season kicked off on October 4th with an event that is somewhat unlikely to happen at a city school. A group of Baruch students ventured to Bear Mountain where they partook in a three mile trail hike. After the hike, the students headed to a local, family run, apple orchard where they picked apples. The event was sponsored by the office of Student Life and Residence Life and the Department of Health and Wellness. At a cost of only $15 for lunch, transportation, and apple picking the trip was definitely affordable and worth it for all. There is also an Adventure Weekend at the Bear State National Park coming up on November 9-10. This is an overnight trip which includes a 14 mile hike and is open to all Bearcats!
