My final project is the mirror of my soul at the moment. I recently went to Paris and told myself “I have to make a video”. When I first left paris I felt that I didn’t accomplish my goal, At least I thought so. Until recently, I started brainstorming ideas for my final project and I suddenly thought of Paris! I thought why not create a little video that will show the most important things that I’ve seen in Paris while visiting my family. While being there I recorded a lot of little videos for myself and some I sent to my friends.
In the beginning of my video I have a shot of me walking faster and faster and then I transition the video to show a clip of me walking backwards, a metaphor of re-jogging my memory. The train was used as a tool to represent time and space. The train was The transition that brought my video clips together. My main purpose of visiting paris in January was to visit my family. I included still shots of them because they made it a very exciting journey and wanted to show appreciation for giving me this opportunity. The final scene was a shot of me day dreaming having a nostalgic memory of my happy place called Á Paris
